Location: Located in Northern British Columbia,
the Damdochax River is home to one the last
truly unspoiled fisheries in the world and should
arguably be on every fly angler’s “wish list” of
places to cast a line. The scenery and quality of
fishing at this lodge must be experienced to be
believed. |
The Lodge: Damdochax River Lodge is a small,
rustic fly fishing-only operation located on one of
the best Rainbow Trout and Steelhead rivers in
the world. The lodge holds exclusive guiding
rights on the river which is a premium, worldclass,
limited access fly fishing experience in a
highly remote wilderness setting. This destination
offers fishing that will be appreciated by all
anglers but it is not for fly fishers looking for a
resort experience. People go here to fish ! |
The Fishing: Damdochax provides remarkable
angling for wild and healthy runs of Steelhead,
Rainbow Trout, Coho, Chinook, Bull Trout, and
Dolly Varden. The river is unique in BC as the
water is usually gin-clear allowing for exceptional
dry fly fishing for Steelhead throughout the entire
season |
Hosts: Hannah Belford and her mother Alice own
and operate this lodge. Alice is the hostess, parttime
guide & President while Hannah is the head
guide, webmaster and CEO. This operation and
these women are the epitome of hard-core fly
fishing ! Alice has guided the Damdochax River
for almost 30 years and Hannah now for over 14
years so you are always in good hands at

Rainbow Trout:
7 days - July, August, September - $5,000.00
Steelhead:
7 days - September, October - $5,500.00 - $7,000
50% deposits are required upon booking with the
balance due 90 days prior to arrival.
