Inconnu Lodge

Location: Inconnu is a world-class lodge that sits on the beautiful shores of McEvoy Lake in the southeast Yukon near the border with the Northwest Territories and British Columbia.

The Lodge: Inconnu Lodge simply has great fishing. The camp hosts a maximum of 8 people and this small number ensures personal service and attention that visitors to this world class destination truly deserve. Heated guest cabins have living rooms, bedrooms and private baths with excellent beds and all the creature comforts of home along with spectacular views of nearby mountains.

The Fishing: This trip offers great fly fishing on virtually untouched rivers and lakes that provide anglers with a true "Yukon experience". Species include Rainbow and Lake Trout, Grayling, Bull Trout and Pike.

Typical Day: Your day starts with coffee & pastries brought to your cabin with breakfast served in the main lodge from 7:00 to 8:00. Aircraft, boats and guides leave the docks between 8:00-8:45 and shore lunch is served over a campfire. At the end of the day guests are returned to the Lodge for 6 pm and dinner is served at 7 pm. For those who can't get enough of a good thing a lakeside hot tub allows you to enjoy the midnight sun in style !

Getting There: Guests are responsible for arranging air travel to and from Whitehorse and their overnight stay the day before lodge arrival (package rates are available at the Gold Rush Inn). Departure flights should not be booked prior to 11 am on the day of departure from the lodge. We have been on this trip and highly recommend this destination as one of the best in Canada !

NOTE: Inconnu Lodge operates every other year and we have prime space booked in 2010.

PRICE: USD/person double occupancy $6,995 25% deposits are required upon booking with the balance due 120 days prior to arrival.

Cheques: Cheques should be payable and mailed directly to "Inconnu Lodge" noting "WILSON'S 2010".
