Turneffe Flats Lodge

Location: Turneffe Flats Lodge is located off shore of Belize near the eastern tip of the largest atoll in the Caribbean.

The Lodge: Turneffe Flats Lodge is known as one of the premier fly fishing lodges in Central America. With a stunning location on the shores of the remote Turneffe Atoll, this is an upscale destination with individual and comfortable air conditioned cabanas surrounding the main lodge with flats fishing just steps from your door. Scuba diving and eco-tourism are also available but this lodge is geared specifically to hard core, salt water fly fishing !

The Fishing: Turneffe Flats is known in particular for large permit & tarpon and abundant bone fish. The opportunity for a salt water grand slam is perhaps no better in the Western Hemisphere than at this lodge !

Typical Day: Your day typically starts at 7 am with a great breakfast followed by a day fishing from flats boats with some of the best guides you will ever meet! A packed lunch is typically eaten on-board because the fishing is not to be missed ! Turneffe Atoll has incredible flats and a barrier reef on its south shore that makes for perfect conditions and your day will typically end at the well-stocked bar talking about the incredible fishing of that day !

Getting There: Clients arrange direct flights to Belize City where you are met by lodge staff and transferred to the harbour. A 1 hour ride by water taxi ride takes you directly to the lodge on the south east shore of Turneffe Atoll.

Dates: We book the 3rd week of Feb (Sat to Sat) and the first week of November with other dates available

Deposit Policy
