Wilson's Camps

Location: Wilson’s Sporting Camps have been on the Miramichi River in McNamee, NB since 1855.

The Lodge: Wilson’s relocated in 2004 to a new site overlooking the river and continue the family tradition of creating great angling memories. No one can say their fly fishing resume is complete without having caught an Atlantic Salmon at Wilson’s !

The Fishing: The Miramichi River has an average annual spawning run of approximately 50,000 Atlantic salmon which makes it the most prolific Atlantic Salmon river in North America . Among its many branches the Main Southwest Miramichi has an international reputation as the Grand Dame of Atlantic Salmon destinations.

Typical Day: 8 am breakfast at the lodge followed by a morning on the river. Depending on the season you have a shore lunch or head back to the lodge. Again, depending on the time of year you either fish the afternoon or wait until the heat of day subsides before fishing for the balance of the day. Supper is served in the main dining room and the bar overlooking the river is available into the evening.

Getting There: Commercial flights arrive daily in Fredericton. The lodge can arrange pick up and drop off as required for an additional charge.

Dates: WILSON’S Toronto is pleased to help book anglers for any time of the Atlantic Salmon angling year which runs from mid April to early October. This is also a great destination for sea-run brook trout during the summer months. Call our store for details.

Deposit Policy
